You know LSU fell off a cliff when graduates of a degree like ChemE might need to consider taking the EIT after the FE to show competency. Like WTF was I learning the past 4 yrs.

The two biggest factors in the USNWR rankings are (1) peer assessment (which is purely reputational ie total BS) and (2) four-year graduation rates.

For some reason, it appears that LSU's graduation rate plummeted to 47%. Whether that is because of F. King or some other underlying cause, IDK. But 47% will make you drop, for sure. Obviously, that's fewer students graduating than not graduating. Not great.

To be fair though the ranking never was real high before F King, he just made it worse
