You know LSU fell off a cliff when graduates of a degree like ChemE might need to consider taking the EIT after the FE to show competency. Like WTF was I learning the past 4 yrs.

Ummm, any company that wants a professional engineer should be hiring someone who's passed the FE? Has nothing to do with LSU. That's like saying it's ridiculous for a law firm to have their applicants pass the bar exam.
