We've always had decent luck with Matrix Shad's, usually Limbo Slice or Holy Joely, all usually under a popping cork. Also, like swimming the Mirrodine/Mirrolures. Always fun and pretty successful to throw a topwater early in the morning.

The captains should let y'all know where to go, but floating the flats back and forth throwing while you float was our best luck. Figure out current, drive to the start, kill the motor and float to the end, then do it all over again.

Edit: The birds are 80% of the time just Lady Fish, fun but not worth it for the most part if you see a big group hitting bait.
