With the release of
Temple Of The Dog self title debut Album today in 1991.

What are some of your favorite Supergroups?

Never paid much attention to this group. But they had some great songs. That was a stacked group. Wow!
The Traveling Wilburys.
End Of The Line

Mine are
Temple of the Dog
Audioslave
A Perfect Circle
Broken Social Scene
Mad Season

Seems like a lot of these groups only released one album

Yeah, this is my choice. I also really liked Damn Yankees (I was in high school from 1986-90, so my hair-metal bias is strong )

little village
Ry Cooder (guitar, vocal)
John Hiatt (guitar, piano, vocal)
Nick Lowe (bass, vocal)
Jim Keltner (drums)

the group recorded together for one john hiatt solo album “bring the family”, and then one self-titled album under the band name.

Here they are on Carson

There is no peer to the Traveling Wibury's.. Maybe Blind Faith...

Tom Petty is the "Kid" in the band. Jeff Lynne, George Harrison, and Bob Dylan, and Roy Orbison? George harrison once joked.. That we "ALL" get Roy Orbisons autograph every day after practice...

Never really thought of them as a supergroup, but You Forgot It In People is an amazing album.

Almost Crimes (no idea why the sound is so horrible)

Not necessarily favorites, but very good supergroups no one has mentioned yet and solid albums from both.

ASIA
The Firm

ETA: The Honeydrippers EP with Page/Plant was a damn good showing also.
