This, the WNBA still exists because the NBA subsidizes it and strong arms advertisers to make them advertise there. It would have died a quick death years ago were that not the case.
But I agree, the NBA can do what they want with their money. I can honestly tell you I've only seen a few minutes of WNBA action ever and that was because a game may have been on in the background at a bar where I was at the time.
Hell I won't even watch if LSU gals are playing - I just have zero interest.
