Snuff =/= chewing tobacco.

It can, as evidenced by by grandmother slathering it all over me, help wasp stings if mixed with water to form a paste.

I found some dry snuff and plug tobacco in backwoods Pickens or Oconee counties, SC.

The insufflated stuff is surprisingly good. Just gives you a runny nose.

mine mixed the tobacco from a cigarette with ponds cold cream

I remember granny wanting to kiss my cheek with the snuff in her mouth. She also had about 20 thousand napkins with her. She dipped Bruton Sweet Snuff.

I mean she was born in 1894. She was old school.
