Do people really call the LSU Lakes the beach, even as a tongue in cheek? Never heard that in my life and I was legitimately confused for a while there until I saw Bayonne and Stanford, thought at first maybe BR meant Biloxi Resorts or something.

Well, that particular spot is an actual beach with sand and zero-entry to the lake. It’s a great point to launch kayaks from and some just hang out on the sand.

What would you call the beach on the lakes? Everyone knows it’s not a “real” beach, but what else should we call it?

If he said the condos across from the LSU lakes, that’s very broad.

This is dumb. It’s been called Baton Rouge beach for at least 33 years. I started LSU in 91 and it’s been widely know as BRB at least since then.
