The Hotchkiss H35 or Char léger modèle 1935 H was a French cavalry tank developed prior to World War II. Despite having been designed from 1933 as a rather slow but well-armoured light infantry support tank, the type was initially rejected by the French Infantry because it proved difficult to steer while driving cross-country, and was instead adopted in 1936 by the French Cavalry arm.

(I have to say, this was a dog of kit. The fit was overall just atrocious. I’ve built plenty of Trumpeter kits over the years. Never have I seen one that had fit issues like this.)

That one might be your best one yet. You weathered it really well.

It's a baby!

If it eats all its shells and drinks its oil it might grow up into a Sherman

That is impressive work. I've seen some but not all of your work. How many do you have in your collection?

Nice work. I've been meaning to do some French armor like the Char Bis, Somua S35, and the Hotchkiss.

Working on a 1/35th Blackburn Buccaneer Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm twin engine two seater anti-ship / anti radar low altitude attack bomber back when they had full size fleet carriers by Airfix.

I’ve built several Trumpeter kits with zero issues. It’s possible that the Hotchkiss was a re-box.

Do you think the other tanks made fun of him for having such a short little gun?
