Everyone is excited about the series win over Missouri, and maybe we are turning the corner, but .....

Let's look at this at another angle. To make the post-season, you have to get a bare minimum of 13 wins in the SEC (13-17). We already have 13 losses, so we can only lose 4 more games max (still might not be enough).

We have the following series left:

Auburn
A&M
at Bama
Ole Miss

I don't see how we even steal one game from A&M. We may take 2 of 3 from Ole Miss and sweep Auburn, but I still don't see us losing only 4 SEC games from here on out. Let's be realistic, it is not likely unless this team catches fire, which would be great going into the post-season, but if I were still a betting man, I'd put some serious money on LSU not playing post-season ball. Maybe the SEC tournament, but not the real post-season.

I still think they needed the sweep over Mizzou, that Sat loss is gonna sting down the line
Auburn has to be a sweep at home
Aggies, they need to find anyway they can to try and get one, even if it means throwing the kitchen sink on the mound at them to secure that one win
Bama has played much better then LSU to this point in the season and that series is on the road, will be a tough series so I think two will be very hard but doable if things break right
Would also be nice if you could sweep Ole Miss at home but that series has been really weird, Ole Miss came to the Box and swept LSU to keep it's season alive in 2022 and LSU returned the favor in Oxford last year with Travinski's heroics

Take 1 against A&M

Take 2 against the remaining, except sweep one opponent

It's possible..
