The reason? The company requires all the applicants to first pass a criminal record background check.

Sheetz is great. Wish we had one around my area. 20 years ago, they had the touch screen menus for customers to order from.. long before any actual fast food restaurants in my area had them. Their food is 'eh', though. About what you'd expect from fast food cooked in a gas station.

Sheets is a pretty nice (for gas stations) chain in the mid-Atlantic. They are pretty clean and have a made to order deli inside.
