The last two times LSU was on the bubble Ron Polk absolutely gave us the middle finger and screwed us. I think the 2005 team was one that didn’t make it and had plenty good of a resume

2011 the team was 36-20 overall and 13-17 SEC, and had a lot of good wins. A series sweep of Cal St. Fullerton, for instance, and 2 of 3 @ Ms State. No good reason that team didn't make a regional -- I think their rating was like 23rd in the nation.

I remember the selection show and Kyle Peterson said something along the lines of "someone is about to be very upset at lsu as their 3 seed" then we didn't make the tourney. They were all shocked
