I think New York, Louisiana, and the federal court system are the only places that cameras are not allowed in trial court.
You would think by now the veil of the court would have been lifted in trials of significance.
I can understand certain court proceedings such as juvenile trials or hearings, divorce proceedings, and personal bankruptcy or financial cases where cameras may not be allowed.
Some courts use Zoom in pretrial hearings so there goes one argument for not having cameras in the courtroom.
