China plays the long methodical game. They are going to colonize this area just like they are doing in Africa right now.

Wouldn't be a problem to deal with them if only we had people in the government not working to accomplish the same goal.

They are willing to spend money on these places, and certain Americans bitch if we loan them $1.50 to buy a Coke.

If you want to run a global empire and be the top dog hegemon, you have to be willing to spend the money. Otherwise, someone else will take the job.

This is horseshite that just keeps getting repeated with no basis in fact. China has historically been everyone's bitch. The Mongols, Japanese, British, French, Russians, and Portuguese have all taken their turns on China like a $2 whore.

First, they're not really a unified country. Their major zones are separated geographically and economically and have little in common with differing desires. The south and interior aren't even represented in their Politburo. You have the North (Beijing), Center (Shanghai), South (Hong Kong/Macau/Hainan), and the interior.....all with different goals. The seat of political and military power is in Beijing, but if their system starts to crack (which it will), every region is going to be looking out for their own interests and those interests will not be those of Beijing.
