I don’t know what team you’ve been watching but this one will likely NEED Herring in order to win fri or Sat.

Obviously, you try and save Herring. If you are up 3 or down a couple, or if it’s too early in the game, then going to the freshman makes sense.

But if it’s a 1 run game, it’s Herring and it should be Herring.

I’ve been watching all year. This team has not won a single series except for the one in which Herring did not pitch until Sunday. We have to win literally every series from here on out if we want to have a chance at making the postseason. The only reason i would pitch Herring before Sunday would be if we had already won game 1 and are up at the end of game 2 and need to close it out.
