Nope, but if he needs to throw 4 innings in a 1-2 run game friday night to get us a win, then so be it. You cant tell me you trust anyone else to hold the rope in that spot. Or maybe jump can get us through 7 eventually and then we may only need griffin for 1-2 friday, then he is available sunday

I just don’t understand how you think continuing to do the thing that has lost us every series is the way to go instead of doing the thing that just won us our first series.

Our bullpen ERA minus Herring is over 10. Statistically, it's HIGHLY unlikely you can hold a 2 run lead for 4 innings without Herring.

There's no way you can predetermine where Herring is going to pitch on this team.
