I’ve been watching all year. This team has not won a single series except for the one in which Herring did not pitch until Sunday
We won the series because Herring didn't HAVE to pitch until Sunday.
We had 3 SEC wins heading into this weekend. Guess who got the win or save in all 3 wins? Until this weekend, we've lost every SEC game he didn't pitch.
This weekend, Jump pitched a 7 inning complete game to break the streak...and then Herring delivered another win.

We have to win literally every series from here on out if we want to have a chance at making the postseason. The only reason i would pitch Herring before Sunday would be if we had already won game 1 and are up at the end of game 2 and need to close it out.
So, if you had a 1 run lead in the 7th on Fri, who are you turning it over to?
And, if you lost that game, and find yourself with a 1 run lead in the 7th on Saturday, who are you turning it over to?
Any idea what our bullpen ERA is in the SEC for guys not named Herring?

Right. So coming into this weekend the only two guys that had an SEC win were Holman and Herring. So in my opinion, having each of them pitch in separate games would give us the best chance to win 2/3.

Not sure. Probably Moffett, Dutton, or Ack with a very short leash.

Again, not sure, but it wouldn’t be Herring.
If you don’t have any confidence in other guys to come in and hold down a 2 run lead for 3 innings, what do you think is going to happen on Sunday when they don’t have a lead and you have to get 9 innings out of them?
