He was a top recruit & if I remember correctly LSU was lucky that he didn’t sign with a pro team. He was supposed to compete to be a weenie d starter.

According to who?

Nothing happened to him. His rating was based on what his ceiling looks like 5 years from now.

Pros draft high school kids on potential. And when they draft high school kids they aren’t expecting them to be day one starters.

The recruiting rankings are based on potential in College or pros. Its my understanding they are working on becoming more consistent in the called area over plate and mechanics. That way he can work more innings pitched at a high level safely. Or atleast, thats what I took from CJJs statements.

He'll be really good soon enough.

Dude is a true freshman in the SEC. Can't expect him to come in and be Paul Skenes right away. I mean damn, give him a year.

If his baseball brain ever catches up to his body, he will be outstanding. Patience, Grasshopper.

Do you intentionally try and come with stupid threads or do they come to you naturally?

Strange autocorrect there.

The real question is what the hell have you been doing to have weekend autocorrect to weenie d?

He has alot.of development to go. He couldn't find the plate early. I think he threw 11 straight balls at one point or something along those lines

Still believe that this is a deeper staff than last year. Have no clue how to fix or bandaid it but nothing happened to him, he’s a freshman. Keep giving him playing time and let him get comfortable.

Maybe in your mind.

The kid is a true freshman throwing in the toughest conference in the country. You have to give him time to catch up to the game.

GA,

Relax. Lanky pitchers stereotypically have the hardest time with consistency. Which is what Cam needs. Those long arms and legs have to become repetitive and timed up together. The long the appendages, the more room for error.

When it clicks for him, watch out. He will be as good as anyone in the country.

He needs to gain a healthy amount of command prior to him being a weekend starter.

He’s come in and flashed some utter dominance at times though.

Even in my limited knowledge of baseball, I know that his first year does not mean shite.
