Not really, because the reporter characters aren’t really interesting enough to make them seem heroic.

It’s basically a road trip movie.

What sucks is that there was such an awesome story to tell which is what I thought I’d get. I thought I’d get a back story on why Texas and California teamed up or at least the major causes of the conflict. What had people to the point where something like this could happen.

Many of us believe we are heading down a dangerous road with the division we see and that wasn’t addressed. Nothing was addressed.

I haven’t been this disappointed in a movie since Prometheus.

That being said I’d rather spend my money on Civil War than any modern remake of a classic, another cash grab using an established franchise, or a superhero movie.
