Yeah…no. Masculinity has to be paired with high character and integrity. Masculinity strictly in the service of self is nihilism.

No it’s not. It’s just basic survival. Male big cats have to be ferocious towards any other animal in order to survive. Humans used to be like this in the prehistoric age, until technology softened us and turned modern men into weak, feminized pussies.

At the end of the day, we are highly intelligent animals still living in a survival of the fittest type world.

As homosapiens, we have evolved so much and become so advanced with society that we have lost our purpose. Tyler Durden is the antithesis of that. As a character, he represents the side of us that wants to be ferocious and fricking wipe out any competition that comes our way. We have to reel it in in order to be accepted by society, but every man who isn’t a cucked bitch has those kinds of thoughts.
