My guesstimation is +70% of people under age 30 voted for the illegitimate regime, they get what they wanted.

No presidential administration dictates my success or failures. No presidential administration controls my spending habits or financial literacy. It’s all on me.

The illegitimate regime has promoted a policy of invasion by illegals across the southern border, these low skill illegals are crushing the wages of lower class working Americans......Do you approve?

Taxes. SS. Not exiting the workforce. Etc. That's what I mean.

30 year olds have voted in three presidential elections and a lot of them probably don’t even vote for something as “unimportant” as congress.

But sure , let’s blame them. Not the 70 year olds in congress that got voted in there forty years ago by boomers and are still there. Yep, it’s the 30 year old people to blame.

You get the government you vote for, and those under 50 overwhelmingly vote Democrat and are deciding elections. Yeah, it's on them.

Ita not necessarily about general voting lines in terms of party.

At least for me, im specifically speaking to the very real fear from politicians that if they go after certain buckets - namely SS and Medicare - their career is over. Yet both of those things need to be dealt with ASAP. But no one can even look at those things critically.

Todays 30 year olds have voted in 3 presidential cycles - that is Obama/trump/biden and the democrats control of the house and senate

So... yeah they have had a significant impact

Societal and financial changes of the country didn't happen in 3 cycles.
It happened over the 30 years of the GOPe doing nothing to stop it and their parents blindly voting GOPe.
Todays 30 year olds were not born when it started, thats a fact.

Stop voting GOPe.

Today's 30 year olds remind me of the line "Every generation blames the one before and all of their frustrations come beating on your door. It is from The Living Years sung by Mike and the Mechanics.

It is time for them to go talk to their father. Oh, wait a minute. Most do not know who he is!!

Progrssive policies are the cause of their dilemma with intense burdens caused by high taxes and extreme over-regulation of both public and private entities.

What were people getting degrees in 30 years ago in comparison?

My parents paid $500 a semester for their education.

It’s like saying millennials are poor because they pay $4 for coffee. It does not compare. Just stop.

Wage increases have not kept up with inflation or cost of living and university costs have skyrocketed compared to inflation since the boomers. Boomers are just as dumb on this subject as they are learning to use a smartphone.

I’m all about calling out laziness but to compare the times now to back then is absurd. But boomers still do it.

Edit: sure. Downvote. Literally everything I said is a fact. Blame it on worthless majors… that’s dumb too. My brother paid $170k for a petroleum engineering degree and another $80k for an MBA. His house cost $700k. He makes $110K. Compare that shite to 1960 and get back to me.

Your posting on here is really not well thought out.

However, in 20 years, almost all of the boomers will be gone. Every year, more boomers die. Less republican voters. Democrats are more and more so your generation will get complete democrat policies.

Congrats - much socialism and you will not be at the top of that. Get used to your energy being limited by the government as well as every other aspect of your life. This is all on your generation for not fighting when you have the chance.

Good luck.

It's hilarious (and instructive) that on one hand, you're whining about boomers having too much, being too hard to compete with, and on the other hand you're calling them dumb.

It's actually the younger guys comparing today to decades ago. Not boomers. I don't remember a single thread on this board about boomers whining about how hard they've comparatively had it.

Life gets better and easier over time. That was true when I was your age, and it's still true today.

A petroleum engineer with an MBA only making $110K is either dim AF or made up.

This isn’t the first time. I’d venture to say it’s been that way for most the last 24 years

I hear ya. I think we're on the same page politically. My point is that it's young people (or younger than boomers) deciding elections these days, and we keep getting big government superfans elected, Democrat and Republican.

I have been saying this about my own kids. My parents did better than my grandparents and I did better than my parents. I don't see my daughters ever doing better than me and then, my grandkids? I don't know how they will make it! Rising inflation, interest rates, cost of renting, etc. is insane! But, I think D.C. is happy with that! They don't want people successful, they want you in smaller living areas as well. Dare I say, they want to control as in Marxism?

You are correct, but the decline of America has been going on for quite a few years. It’s not all on the backs of 30 year olds who many were probably raised by single moms.
