re: Would this tactic work to rid myself of endless spam calls?

I bought a Verizon phone for a Hotspot for awhile. Never called, texted, or linked it with any account. It stayed on the window sill in my home office plugged in.

It rang nonstop with spam calls. Just as bad as my personal use phone.
