So if bases loaded and hit a homerun do all the baserunners just walk back to dugout without running bases? Its part of the sport to run the bases.

Imagine in football a wr catches pass at 50 yard line and no one ahead of him. In your world he doesn’t need to run 50 yards just give him the TD right?

Its part of sport to run bases.

I'm not taking sides but that was an awful analogy.
