What a new and exciting topic!

Like I said I realize it has been discussed before but I feel like it's even worse now. Is 30% really expected? Any restaurant baws here that can chime in? I'm sure some of the OT ballers own restaurants and can shed some light on this absurdity

No.

This is pre-generated by the POS software and the amounts are chosen by the manager who isn't even a tipped employee. It's probably not that serious and just part of the POS setup process, so they go with whatever the implementation specialist/trainer suggests.

no, but if you don’t ask you’ll never get it

That’s not what this bill says. But is tipping out of control? Yes. For decent service 15% should be enough and it’s funny that they don’t include that.

It gave you options of 20, 25 and 30%. Why are focused on that one rather than other 2?

Furthermore you have the option to tip what amount you choose.

Sounds like you are just looking for a reason to bitch….over a topic that’s been discussed ad nauseum.

They are not forcing you to tip 30%.
