If you're looking for a little something different check out Marine Layer and Faherty. Great polo and button downs.

Another nice brand but I find their polos too plain for the price is Johnnie O.

For a cheaper alternative, a blue Oxford from Amazon Essentials (or whatever their house brand is called). I think I paid 15 bucks and have gotten a few compliments on it. Pairs well with khakis.

My problem is the sleeves on short sleeve shirts isn't long enough, I like the sleeves almost down to my elbow.

I’m looking for options that are versatile, high quality, and not too expensive.

High quality, but expensive, are Peter Millar and Rhone. They do last, and if you get the right kind of material, they won't wrinkle and the dryer is not required.
