Selfish at bat. Maybe got 1 strike the entire AB, yet strikes out. He and even Tommy white at times need to stop trying to hard to force base hits. Just take your balls and get on base.

None of the players have good hitting discipline. Heavy hitters tend to be worse because they will take more chances. That being said, among starters, Travinski is:
3rd in average
Tied for 2nd in RBIs
3rd in slugging percentage
3rd in OBP
Tied for 2nd in walks
Tommy, Trav and Bear all take bad hacks at balls. It's on Jay and the hitting coach to reel them in to make sure they play situational baseball.
