Ok? So because he was a reliever last year he can never be a starter? Grant Taylor wasn’t a starter his freshman year either, but I bet you he would’ve started games his sophomore year if not for injury.

Serious question, do you think there is a big difference between starting the game and coming in to start the 2nd inning?

If Jay and Yeskie thought Herring would be more valuable as a starter than a reliever, he’d have started weeks ago. Utilization of Griffin Herring is one of the few things that’s worked this year.
