Updated Batting Stats vs SEC teams

I'll start by saying that these are not official stats from SEC website or anything...just my count I have kept throughout the season. Yes there's probably a few mistakes in there somewhere, especially OBP because the box scores do not show HBP, so none of those are in here, meaning most players who have received some HBP actually have a slightly higher OBP, but it's still pretty close.
We were barely above our season average for hitting in a series that we won 2-1. We only outscored Auburn 13-9 over the course of 3 games. Until Sunday, the pitching/defense had been great. Pitching wasn't great today. Offense doesn't have it going. Hit 5 HRs to score 13 runs total. Pretty sure all but Milam's today were solo shots.
Bingham, Pearson, and Kling all trying to see who sucks less right now to hold down 2 of the outfield spots. Larson has a firm grip on his and has been out best/most consistent hitter since he has had playing time. Who saw that at the beginning of the year?
Tommy White has struggled for 2 straight series. His OBP and AVG have dropped as low as they've every been for us I believe. The few hits he has had have basically been homers.
Braswell, Milazzo, Travinski all had a decent series. They are the only players other than Larson hitting over .300 in SEC play.
Jones was pretty true to his season averages...striking out a few times, being walked a few times, hitting a bomb and a couple more that were nearly bombs.
Milam struggled this weekend at the plate.

So basically Braswell, Larson and Milazzo are the only performing to standard or above.

Bingham, White, Jones, & King were terrible.

We struck out 249 times in the entire SEC season last year. And had 175 walks.

I love Tommy and he’s by far the best player on the team so it doesn’t seem fair to single him out but he’s gotta give us more than solo HRs. He had some terrible ABs with runners on base this series

Seeing all this in black and white, it’s far from a blip or trend…it’s some bad hitting going on at lsu. Might be the worst offense in two decades. Wow, none of the new plug and play guys have gotten in done from the plate except Braswell and Larson. Yikes, this is bad.
