The only thing close is Ed O in 20. But that team had Covid as an excuse plus the loss of talent IMO was greater in total for football. Nonetheless, this BB team was a shoe in for Omaha and was projected to have better overall pitching with solid offense. The performance in the SEC is historically bad from an LSU standpoint. The extra infuriating part is it's hard to blame the roster, the team has talent. Jay has had so many coaching blusters this year from in game calls to roster management that it's no wonder we have low chemistry and can't find a groove. Since Les, I've never scratched my head so much with a Game Day approach.
