He pretty much told us that he did NOT see a clear path. Instead he believed that he made the choice to come to LSU under true guidance, and chose to faithfully stick to that decision. And now because of that, he gets his shot.

Idk why you’re tryna change what he said to make an assumption of what you THINK he “would have done”.
Just listen to HIS words. Dont gotta try inserting your own.

I won't argue with you, because I'm obviously not inside Garrett's head. But he would be a stronger man than almost anyone (myself included) if he didn't move on to greener pastures with no chance at playing time.

And by the way, he always had a path to start at LSU. He knew when Jayden left he'd have 1-2 years of eligibility. I don't know where that train of thought comes from. I guess he meant that LSU could sign another hot shot transfer to play in front of him, but that would be the case at any big time program.
