His whole "we win the right way" shtick is the difference between us being a contender and a play-in regular..
The league is dominated by players who hunt and sell contact to get free points.. and we encourage our team to shoot stepbacks and fadeaways because "we don't do that"

You watched this series and truly believe that this team is a contender?
I keep seeing this thread after thread. We just got swept as the 8th seed. Yet people believe that a new coach vaults us to a top 2 seed (in a loaded West), and we should be in the Finals. It's delusional.
This season was over once Zion got hurt. A healthy Ingram should have won us a couple of games in the series, but he didn't get it done. It's that simple. A prime Phil Jackson wasn't carrying this team any further. People give coaches way too much credit. It's always about the players..
