That’s the kind of win we needed to make the team start believing again. Not beating the worst team in baseball in Mexico City. Hope JV can shove tomorrow!

You will obviously be in line to start our first playoff thread as a sign of gratitude when we finish the season 143-19

Glad we won but I'm still absolutely baffled about Espadas decisions in the 10th. Down a run with a leadoff runner on 2nd base. On his bench he has a contact hitting outfielder who's been excellent hitting with runners in scoring position. He uses that guy as a pinch runner and let's a rookie outfielder in his first game who struck out at 30% in the minors hit for himself. Loperfido of course strikes out.

That's a terrible use of Dubon. Is the question where is he more valuable in this situation, as a pinch runner or as a pinch hitter for the catcher? Idk to me priority should be given to moving the runner. Your chances of winning nose dive if you don't move the runner over and Dubon > >>> Loperfido at achieving that outcome.

Breg was due. Hader pitched passed the 9th. No more auto out Abreu. I’m optimistic for the first time all year. Feels good man.

Supposedly Javi may return this weekend. Would give us a solid 1-4.

Dubon has also been pretty good with RISP.

Brown has to be removed from the rotation
---It's almost like the Astros hate him & that's why they put him out there start after start
