Meniscectomy only for a pro athlete is likely 10 days especially for baseball. It’s scoped and they just clip it out. He could be back jogging within a week maybe 2. If they repair it, that’s a different situation completely. It’s a weight bearing injury and cartilage takes a while to heal. Likely 4 weeks no weight bearing plus another 2-4 getting strength back in the quad.
