Attention. The entering freshman class at UNC is restricted by law to only about 16% non-native North Carolinians. So, the overwhelming majority of UNC students are residents of North Carolina. Although there are large numbers of liberal progressives, there are tons of smart, enlightened, modern young people there who know dweebish bullshite when they smell it.
