I'll agree that a burger patty (especially after grilling) is difficult. Otherwise, most leftovers are pretty good if warmed and/or repurposed properly.
First tip is to never use the microwave unless the dish was heavy on sauce to begin with. Soups, stews, chilis, etouffees, pasta sauces, etc. are fine. Otherwise, the microwave is not your best reheating device.
For most grilled meats (steak, pork, chicken, etc.) I'll slice it thin and sauté with onions and peppers or a sauce and usually use it for a sandwich or fajitas. If you want to keep that steak or chop whole for the next meal, don't overlook the sous vide as a reheating device.
Fried stuff goes in the air fryer, convection oven, or dropped back in the oil briefly to heat and crisp. I'm also not above eating cold fried chicken right out of the fridge.
Pizza is eaten cold or heated in the toaster oven.
Pasta and rice just needs a little liquid added before reheating on the stove or even in the microwave.
