First rule of avoiding a set up is knowing that one exists. If you look at what the National Archives and FBI / DOJ were doing prior to the Mar a Lago raid you could see that they were setting him up....they all but telegraphed it. Trump's ego would not let him avoid it. I still maintain that had he moved to quash the subpoena that led to all of this, even if the court rejected the motion none of this happens. He could have blown up the set up.

Guy trips over his own dick, his enemies take advantage that he falls on his face. Guy complains about it, gets up and then trips over it again, enemies jump all over him. Sooner or later you might realize your dick is causing the problem.

When the mob takes over a town, they get the judges, the local police, the mayor/city council, et all. on their payroll. Is our current civilian system in DC any different?

It's not hyperbolic to say that everything involving the stated "results" of the 2020 election are less than straight up treason. Multiple state elections were tampered with/subverted in order to install an illegitimate puppet and supporting cast of characters to shift the balance of power in the House/Senate.

One SCOTUS Justice was seated by an illictly-installed FauxTUS.

The DOJ/FBI embedded plants & confidential human sources within the crowd at the Capitol to subvert the protests against what was clearly compromised elections. Hundreds of those present are STILL being kept as political prisoners - making examples out of those who were exercising their 1st Amendment rights. Outside agitators turned what was a peaceful protest into something that's been framed as worse than 9/11.

The MSM has provided narrative cover the entire time, painting anyone who has questioned the appointed message as a cOnSpIrAcY tHeOrIsT, and Big Tech has done their part by stifling the messages, deplatforming the wrong thinkers and suppressing discussion via algorithm.

Who is left to prosecute a coordinated effort to oust a duly-elected President?

ETA - That's all just with the 2020 election. This doesn't get into any of the prior schemes to derail Trump's first term: Spygate, Crossfire Hurricane/Razor/Typhoon/Wind investigations, FISA abuse, Impeachment Hoaxes #1 & 2, etc.

Riiiiight.... Trump should have known that a non-political organization with no history of criminal referrals would have done something unprecedented and outside the scope of their authority. He also should have known exactly what was in the boxes he didn't pack or inspect as well. This is all Trump's fault!

You TDS idiots always have to blame Trump for something. This time it's for not being omniscient.

He knew about them wanting the boxes. There was a subpoena issued for it a few months before. His lawyers certainly knew. It's not as though this came out of nowhere as much as you might wish it. The FBI and National Archives sought to set him up, they all but sent a registered letter with the announcement of. If you sign this cert/ affidavit you attest that you have tuned over everything....and if you do have documents hanging around you and your lawyers will have committed perjury. His lawyer Corcoran told him as much as did the lawyer who referred Corcoran. Neither lawyer disputes this.

They set him up on Obstruction and they were not subtle about it....and he said essentially, "I dare you". Trump asked for the spectacle. The TDS is on your end.
