You fricking moron. You said circles (a shape) are tubes because no matter how they’re constructed, they are always three dimensional. A three dimensional circle is a cylinder, the name of the shape. Tube implies a function, making it not the word or concept used for the shape.

I was going to say the same thing, but technically a drawn circle wouldn’t be a cylinder either. It would be a cylinder with an annular space. Which is, as much as I hate to admit it… a tube.

(I feel dumber for even thinking about this.)
