Here in central Louisiana, we have a plethora of courses about an hour away. Alec has two that are side by side. One in Marksville and another in Kinder. Sam Rayburn and Cypress Bend. Several in L.C. We have two here, a muni and Ft. Big Johnson along with Beauregard CC in DeRidder. NSU has a fun little course. And you can get on most with no problem, without a tee time and not too expensive either. For the most part all are usually in good shape, a few goat ranches, but still fun to play. It's a shame Hodges Gardens (Emerald Hills) shut down.
