There is almost no way for LSU to sweep this series.OM has gotten hot
at the right time and also beat A@M .With luck LSU wins 2.Unfortunitly
this team just doesnt have what it takes to be a consistant winner. That
is they dont have any consistency at the plate.Ive watched LSU baseball
for 40 years and this is the worst clutch hitting team in a long time.Even
the BEST hitters strike out or pop up at the worst times.

“just sweep Ole Miss”? Exactly how many SEC teams has LSU swept this season?

Ole Miss had some stars who were out hurt during the season and started returning near the end.

We are stuck with what we have.

From what I remember, I thought Ole Miss had injuries early in that season that would explain the rough start. As they got their players back, they started winning, gained momentum, and got hot. This LSU baseball team is not comparable to Ole Miss 2022. We've had our players all year and have underperformed all year.

And we aren’t battling injuries with pitching?

None of these naysayers thought we would take 2 of 3 from Aggie either.

I just want to move this back up. Let’s not forget the “frick It, let’s do this” mode we are currently in

I find it rather interesting that since this was posted, LSU is 5-0 and Ole Miss is 0-4 and turning in equipment today.

Its weird to say this, but that sweep was the turning point in my opinion. We played them tough, didn't get run ruled, and up until late in game 3, pitched our asses off. 16-5 since leaving that shithole.

Just let’s break this down…

The 2022 Ole Miss Champs were 24-19, 7-13 going into May of ‘22

They finished 8-2 in regular season and were 0-1 in SEC Tourney. To be 32-22, 14-16 to end year and SEC Tourney

LSU going into May was 29-17, 7-14 and ended up going 7-3 in Regular season and are 2-0 currently in tourney to be 38-20, 13-17

Keep in mind we also got two teams ranked high that we never played this year and we stomped them.

Our RPI is 21, SOS is 17, Q1 is 9-15 (losses matter but 9 wins in Q1 is legit but also shows the gauntlet we went through) and ELO has jumped from 13 to 6

LSU is 10-17 with 3 SEC games left. LSU will be lucky to end up 12 SEC wins, more likely end up with 10-11 Ole Miss just won 2 of 3 against number 3 A&M, LSU is not sweeping OLE MISS. LSU has not swept one single SEC series this year.
