Do any of you have experience with the South EZ lower level overhang? I'm looking at tickets between 403-408 up at the top, but there appears to be a lot more of these available than just about everywhere else.

I got screwed with that overhang in section 401 at the Garth Brooks show and couldn't see anything. I do have kids I'd plan on bringing and it would be pretty miserable if they couldn't see.

Any advice or experience feedback would be appreciated.

The relocation software says "Obstructed View of Scoreboard" when hovering over/selecting seats above row 30 in the lower south endzone. Not sure if you are noticing that text. I've never sat there, but I assume you cannot fully see the North Endzone scoreboard or high punts/passes. You can still see the field, and you are out of the sun and rain if high up enough. In sections 401-404, you are on top of the away fans and away band, which is something to consider.

You should call the ticket office and see if you can sit in the seat to see what the view is like.

I've sat there a few times over the years. The top 5-6 rows are covered by the south endzone overhang, which is fantastic for being out of the weather when it's a factor. View of the field is not obstructed at all, but the view of the north endzone scoreboard is somewhat obstructed, depending on the row you're on.

I sit on Row 33 in 403. I'm under the overhang for rain and sun purposes but can see great. Don't go further back than 34.

I sat under the over hang years ago.
If it’s cold, it is like a wind tunnel and you freeze your butt off.

I'm in 406 , row 32 and am under the overhang. There's no obstruction from my seats. I wouldn't recommend going any higher than 34.

I'm in 405 row 30, and am in the last row that isn't completely under the overhang if that helps.

3D View from Seats in Tiger Stadium

This link should give you a pretty good idea.

As someone mentioned, that's pretty close to the visitor fans and band, which you should definitely take into consideration. (I sit at the other end of that end zone in the upper bowl and I still wish they weren't so close.)

Also, in the corner of an endzone, you might not have the best vantage point of seeing the yard markers on the field, etc. It might be better to be a little higher up.

Of course, being under an overhang when it's raining (Never) would be nice.

The lower SE is nice for day games and rain games. The view isn’t bad.

I will give you a suggestion from years of moving my guest seats as I chased more cost effective good seats..
I keep a few for friends in section 421 upper third portion of section toward left as you look at the section from the field.. they extended the scoreboard significantly and it is up above this area on top of the stadium.. as the sun comes down and begins to cast a shadow into the stadium that scoreboard is the highest thing sticking up and you begin to get the shadow cast over her in this little area..

There are still some seats available as of this moment.

I think you might mean the lower South-West for day games. The South-East gets a LOT of sun !

I just let my section 406 row 34’s go this year after 3 years. You can see the scoreboard just fine. You are out of the sun and rain. Poor man suites. Only complaint I have is how tight it is in there. Made it miserable trying to get out to run to the bathroom or whatever if it was a packed game. I seriously consider moving to the upper west or Skyline, but I let ‘em go all together. 20 years was a good run, but it was time. I’ll still try to make a game or two during the year though.

Slap that PVC pipe for me if you do end up there!
