New Home Field Releases - LSU Throwbacks

Not sure if anyone posted, but Homefield is dropping some retro baseball stuff soon and LSU is included. Overall I think the collection for LSU has been just ehh, but I bet these 2 items sell.

You can get that bottom right jersey with Louisiana spelled across it on DH Gate for 30 bucks and fully stitched. Got a college World Series patch on it too

So people don't have to click the link. The gear isn't out yet. They want your phone/email to send you reminders while also sending you texts/emails on when other team stuff comes out. Only benefit to giving them your info is for the 10% off code on their website.

Based on those pictures it looks like Homefield struck out. The jersey is a replica of one worn by LSU in 1975, not 1986. The color is not LSU purple and the picture it uses as a reference even includes Jim Smith, LSU's 1975 coach, in sunglasses near the front. The other picture is obviously 1986 teammates Pete Bush and Joey (Albert) Belle. Not sure where Belle got the trucker hat, but it was never worn by the team in '86.

Homefield doesn't use a whole lot of colors when it comes to their jackets/jerseys. All of their inks are high quality, match university colors and the shirts are usually solid, but never the exact university colors for anything else. They're significantly more expensive to produce and bring up a higher price point. It's why all all those bomber jackets sold out within a few minutes.
