Bringing his season total to… 3. The criticism was warranted.

Yeah, so let’s hurry up and trade him in May. That’s brilliant.

Love these people that say Bregman sucks in May. He is a notorious slow starter but heats up when it matters and yeah btw Bregman is the ALL-TIME leader of home runs by a third baseman in post season play.

He still needs to be traded. He's a free agent after this season and he's not going to be offered a long term deal in Houston. He's on the wrong side of 30. Best thing for him and the club would be for him to get scorching hot the next 2 months and up the trade value

He's not getting moved if the team is in playoff contention

And yes on getting scorching hot and raising his value for his next deal elsewhere

Preferably to a team with a short porch in left so he can be himself

Now he’s batting a whopping .218

and he has 121 games left to play this season. I think there's probably time for that batting average to improve

he's exactly 30 as of a couple of months ago. A lot of players sign long-term deals at 30. In fact, 29-30 years old is when most sign of those larger long-term deals are signed, depending on what your definition of "long-term" is. A ton of 5-6 year deals for a whole lot of money are signed by 30+ year old players

Who else is going to offer him a long-term deal?

Crane and Co. want him to end his career in Houston, just like Altuve and Alvarez.

They don't give a shite what the short-term memory fans have to say.

Exactly.

Houston is LSU's largest alumni base but yeah, nobody gives a shite about the Astros.

Bregs is heating up. Hit another dinger in the first tonight, his 3rd in two days. He said in an interview that he had changed his swing this year, but now is going back to the basics. He said he needed to "knob past the ball".

Are the stats I posted inaccurate?

Yes, They are highly inaccurate. MLB stated in its report the sign stealing shite was in 2017 and only a portion of 2018, specifically saying it did not occur in 2019.

But that doesn't fit your narrative as he finished second in MVP voting (and probably should've won it) in 2019.

He is a cheater. He instigated the cheating scandal. Houston got away with murder. Hope he gets traded so he can rethink who he is.

I don’t understand how any true tiger fan would have anything negative to say about a form of player unless he committed a criminal act. That being said if any former athlete is playing badly or not performing, it’s OK to say that, but leave it at that or just don’t say anything at all negative.

You're confusing Alex Bregman with Alex Cora and Carlos Beltran.

Sure, he cheated in 2017 and 2018. I don't think that has ever been up for debate. But I'm not sure you understand the definition of instigated. Did he event sign stealing? Buy the trash can? Regardless, what does that have to do with 2019?

No doubt. Being run out of town in a trade 6 years after the scandal is what is needed for him to be properly punished and put back on the path to righteousness. That'll show him.
