Sorry to tell you but you already have a reason that will bite you sooner or later. It’s the 5.4. That is one of the worst engines Ford has ever built and is definitely the worst OHC engine. It’s a time bomb. You should plan accordingly.

Sorry but you are confused. The 3V 5.4L is a problem due the variable cam phasers. The 2V 5.4L's have no variable cam timing and are extremely reliable.
