Taking my daughter to NYC this summer and it looks like the Yankees will be in town while we are there. Any recommendations for the best/easiest place to get Yankees tickets? Obviously could look at the MLB app, but figured I would ask here. Also, cool stuff to see/do in the area of the stadium? Thanks

Havent been in a couple years but the stadium is in the middle of the Bronx and is a good ways from downtown via the train
For tickets I would just get them from MLB or stubhub to avoid the possibility of getting scammed

I have been to one game in Yankee Stadium. It was not a sellout and I bought tickets at the stadium box office before the game.
I am not telling you to do that. Try the secondary market sanctioned by the team. The Saints have a set up like that. I am sure the Yankees do also.

There's Yankees ticket exchange groups on Facebook. Those are typically season ticket holders reselling for a little less than they'd cost on the official secondary market sites like Stubhub.
Definitely go early enough to tour Monument Park before the game. It's not quite as cool as it was in the old stadium, but still worth your time to visit.

I got tickets on TickPick last year and they were half the price of the MLB app.

How long are you in New York City?
I recommend getting the cheapest seats at the box office and staying for 3 innings then leave. 3.5 hours is a long time in NYC.
You get to experience a Yankees game...but then there is so much more to do.

Should the OP also get the cheapest tickets to a Broadway show, stay 20 minutes then leave? That’s some weird logic! It obviously depends on what part of the city he’s staying in but Yankee Stadium is a 25-30 minute subway ride if you are staying in the heart of the city. I wouldn’t go through the trouble of going up to the Bronx unless I was staying for most of the game.
