We seem to do really well indoors on turf. Should be good for us in Jerry World.

The Liberty Bowls sucked. Obviously, I enjoyed the National Championship games the most. Next, I always liked the Peach Bowl. That Miami game was awesome. That Independence Bowl against Michigan State was a lot of fun, too.

Man,it was cold that night. Wind was whipping around pretty fierce, too, which made the game even worse. And to think we scored first on a punt return. I was ready for a big win after that.

Norman Jefferson. Not to Hijack but the worst LSU game EVER had to be in 85 as well. LSU 10- UK 0 Raining and ugly weather ='S 21 punts and a boring as hell game.

For some reason this is my favorite. First Bowl game in six years, came in with identical records, Faulk and Kennison had great games, beat a Saban coached team for the first time. Just a great night comin off the big upset of Arkansas to end the season made us feel like Tiger football was relevant again.

I'm pretty much a homer, sunshine pumper, all that stuff, but that '85 team had to be one of the weakest "9 win" teams in SEC history, at least in the 11 game regular season era.

'85 Sugar Bowl vs. Nebraska (Hung over Jeff Wickersham might still be throwing interceptions)

'89 Hall of Fame Bowl vs. Syracuse
(Must have been 112F in the Old Sombrero in Tampa. Still hate New Yorkers)

'04 NCG vs. Oklahoma (Yeah I got misty eyed so what tough guy)

'05 Cap 1 vs. Iowa (to this day have never seen so many fat pasty people in one place)

Gator Bowl '87 was a blast!!!

The Lamecocks and their Black Death Defense.

Easily the most overhyped, trash-talking group of obnoxious rednecks you've ever seen in your life (although the Georgia Bulldogs just about any year come close) and we put a beat-down on them Probably the closest I've come to getting beaten up in a stadium when we waved our 8-ft LSU flag in their face and told them their QB was the best player on our team. Aaahh, the obnoxiousness of youth!

The Lamecocks

Didn't they have that "Golden Mullet" kid Tannehill at QB that year?

Among many others, 1966 Cotton Bowl (sound familiar). Wanna see what it meant before the money? Look up pic of Coach Mac and Corbett after game.

2005 peach bowl massacre of Miami

THIS!!!

Ive only been to the '83 Orange Bowl against Nebraska and last year's Capital One Bowl against Penn State - both losses. Living in Miami, I got alot of mileage out of that Peach Bowl blowout.

I didn't realize how much we were owned by Nebraska in the big bowls.

Couldn't defend the wishbone. I hated Osborne, Nebraska and the color red back then.

I went to the 1996 Peach Bowl in Atlanta against Clemson. LSU won, 10-7, in what was possibly the DULLEST football game I've ever had the misfortune to witness

Thats a fact on this. Horrible.

1978 Tangerine Bowl. Cholly Macs last game. I remember watching it on TV.. Misslou network. I remember that like it was Morris' homerun for some reason.

I think we have won every World Series championship game we've been in.

LSU lost one game vs Texas in 2009 but of course won the series. But before that LSU was undefeated in championship winner take all games.

And back on topic, 1995 LSU v Mich St Indy Bowl was my first LSU game to see in person.

Only attended one bowl, 1978 Liberty as a member of T-band.

That game and trip sucked. Freezing as shite! The only fun part of the trip was the joint practice with the Missouri Band. I remember me and one of the other Bass Drummers walking several miles down the interstate in freezing weather at about 11pm to find something to eat because the hotel restaurant was closed. We wound up at a fried chicken place in a "Bad Area", but the cold walk was worth it because that was some damn good fried chicken! We took some of our meal money allotment, bought a big bag and brought it back to the room.

My favorite Bowl was next year at the 79 Tangerine in Orlando. (We got a week in warm Florida and got to do the "Parade through Disney World" thing.)

Let's see, I've been to all the LSU Sugar Bowls going back to the two in the 60's against Syracuse and Wyoming.........
