You being at the game certainly proves that

Then you saw two teams that were juicing.

One of the great arse kickings of all time

Not really relevant, but they did beat our arse.

Roids had nothing to do with it.

Nobody said it did. But I am saying roids played a big part in all the muscle heads on the field and the 348 homeruns between the two teams.

You're really gonna call out Josh on baseball... Come on dude. You're gonna lose

I know a shitload of LSU baseball but nothing close to Josh or Adam

and the 96' team didnt have shite on the 1997 team.

really though, creatine was huge at this point in time, and the more serious roids were just coming into play.

not only at LSU, but in HS. Especially the creatine.

id almost bet that just about every LSU guy was taking creatine, and a handful were doing the more serious stuff.

Yeah, pretty sure Furniss was openly taking creatine back then, and a bunch of those other guys as well. Larson of course.

Not from a numbers standpoint, and probably not quite from a physical standpoint either, but they were close. That is actually the team that the "Gorilla" comment was in reference to during the 98 series.

Not concerned. I was going to games long before any of you knew about LSU baseball. I don't try to impress people with my knowledge.

It was 1996 and we were in the Super Regionals playing LSU

Super Regionals didn't start until 1999, so erroneous on both counts. That Georgia Tech game was so much fun though--always will be one of my favorites from the old Box.

No but for some reason you want to impress us with your current streak of attending games. And somehow that validates your opinions on whether or not the team juiced?

If you are able to buy a product at a store... .bitch about it being cheating all you want.

it was legal and every player at every level was taking 1 or more supplements at some point.

LSU, every single guy on the team looked like Lou Ferrigno

He's full of shite. We had some chiseled guys like Cooley, McClure and Dunn, but they were hardly bulked up like this guy implies.

of course, alot of denial in this thread

I won't deny they were probably on the juice. As were most athletes at the time. People act like the pitchers didn't juice so the batters had all the advantages...that is denial.

And it is funny how fb never gets a black eye from roids but anyone who knew highschool fb players during the roid era knows they juiced. I guess they all quit in college and the pros lol

no one is saying LSU was the only one doing it or hitters were the only ones doing it, we just acknowledge LSU was as well. Yall keep justifying it however you want.

Larson came on board in '97. I know Furniss admittedly did Creatine, but lots of players did and it was legal.
