Do we see a little more hit&run, stolen bases, and small ball after losing Katz and Rhymes and having so much speed?

Next year Bregman, Robertson, and the entire outfield could have over 10-12 stolen bases.

LSU's not going to be forced to play small ball but they'll be able to put more pressure on other teams in the base paths. Rhymes and Ross weren't the fastest point to point speed guys.

I wouldnt be opposed going to the Vandy strategy on the base paths with even more speed. 54 for 80 this year is just, meh. We also stole more with guys we shouldn't like Katz though.

Exciting to hear. Mainieri used to be a lot more aggressive on the bases than he was this year. Hope with the right guys, we can get back to that.

I guess with the great hitters in the order, we didn't need to take too many chances.

I question this. Stevenson, Laird and McMullen all have speed but did very little on the bases. Frankly, other than McMullenthey looked lost on the bases esp. Stevenson. Really makes me wonder how this happens when teams like Vandy were running wild.
