Hieu Doan, of Venetian Isles, pulled in the second tagged redfish of the STAR Tournament while fishing the jetties in Chef Pass. Doan’s catch lands him the 2013 Chevy Silverado.
The first tagged redfish of this year’s tournament was caught opening weekend in Fourchon by Baton Rouge’s Kenneth Guidry who donated the truck back to CCA Louisiana in hopes that someone else would win the coveted prize.
Doan, a member of the Delta Chapter since 2012, weighed in his 21” tagged redfish at Rigolets Bait and Seafood.
“Hieu Doan said he and his family look forward to Memorial Day each year just for this reason and we are excited about having a tagged redfish division winner from the east side of the state,” said STAR Director Rad Trascher. “Thanks again to the Super Chevy Dealers for donating this great prize.”

Rad had a hot female with him tagging redfish a month or so ago. I hope there is something more there than them just tagging the fish. She looked great and wore her bikini top well. If she's into fishing and likes to tag fish, she has to be a great catch.
These two could be the King and Queen of LA salt water fishing. God knows he needs good luck with the women. The last two have been total counts.
