While true, I find color plays an important role.
Anyone have success using a wacky rigged senko or trick worm around pilings as a vertical presentation when cranks are getting you any bites?

Best tactic in summer on the lake I grew up on in FL was a snorkel and spear gun. Could get within 2 ft of those lunkers around the grass lines in clear water. Bam!
