Because they are

Yes, but San Diego St happens to be even more atrocious.

FWIW, my numbers have San Diego St as a false favorite. They should be getting points, not laying them.

What factors into your score prediction?

Because I haven't seen a computer projection with Nevada favored.

ETA: these links are not meant to be exhaustive. And I'm not saying they're gospel. I'm just saying that if your numbers have Nevada being favored, your numbers might be a curious.

Almost beating Oregon State is better than Nevada's best result.

Also, I rarely if ever bet against Iowa State at home. Weird stuff goes on in Ames, man. It could be the water.

Okie State had absolutely no business losing to Iowa State in 2011. None, zero, zilch. They beat that team 49 times out of 50. Ames, man. It might be haunted.

yep

I remember I had a HUGE 1Q bet on that game and there was a pick 6 by Okie state one of if not the last play to either get me the cover or push the bet. it was great

I watched some of that Auburn/Miss St game. It looked like Dak is a decent runner and good short thrower but he has no touch on the deep/intermediate passes. MSU has 0 big play ability guys on offense. It'll be tough for them to keep pace even if it is their "superbowl."

they don't have to hit the big play... state will move the chains against a relatively weak front seven and control the clock.

I think state scores enough points to keep it a one-score game.... people are still underestimating just how bad LSU's defense is right now... MSU won't score in the 40s like UGA, but they will move the ball and own the LOS.

I have the same bet down but I added Florida in the mix. Probably shouldn't have done that, I'm afraid that will come back and bite me in the arse.

Not reading the thread, but what am I missing on the West Virginia/Baylor line? Seeing WV as a 27.5 point dog. Baylor has put up a ton of points against nobody. WVU looked terrible against Maryland, but beat OSU and played OU to within 9.

You failed to mention that WV got boat raced by Maryland.

Neither of the Okie teams have the offense that Baylor does

No, I didn't.

And Baylor doesn't have a D and will be playing their first halfway decent team of the year. Looks like free money to me.

Baylor has played Wofford, ULM and Buffalo.
WVU has played 3 top 25 teams. WVU isn't good, but they aren't likely to lose by 28 to Baylor.

I actually took Baylor.

WVU played WAYYY above themselves in a very emotional road win last week against Dana Holgerson's old team.

I think they get run clear outta Baylor by 40 pts.

This was a low-money game for me this week along with VaTech -7.

Liked em but not enough to put more than 1 unit on em.

I put a good bit on LSU, Louisville, and Penn St. -3 however.
