Oregon will probably cover but that 29 shoo is an ugly number.

I don't think beyondthebets ever offered paid plays, so I assumed he was talking about behindthebets.

Have any of ya'll signed up for the paid membership at behindthebets.org? Do you think it would be worth it? I'm thinking of hitting them up on the one month/29.99 deal and see what they have to offer as far as game anaylsis and featured picks. I've been doing well in the NFL, but I just don't know enough about all these college teams to make solid decisions on the non-marquee games and I know I'm missing a lot of value there.

You'd be better off saving your money and just trying to get better by reading other sites. They really just post picks. I haven't seen much analysis at all.

And imo the best way to become better is to sit down and break down a set # of games each week and see how you do.

UDub all day.

14.5 is a lot of points and they are a pretty good team.

Personally I'd feel better about Stanford winning by a field goal at home than I would be about Washington not getting blown out on the road against a great team.

Def. like Stanford in this position. Really solid team and it's no trap game, I'm sure they've been made fully aware of how good Udub is.

BYU +6 1*

66% of the pub is on Utah St. When I looked at all the numbers, I had Utah St. as a small home dog. All of the numbers are pretty close, the only glaring difference would be the SoS (one site has Utah St. at 108 and BYU at 42). So even if I'm wrong on Utah St. being the slight dog, I'll stick take BYU and the points.

Don't think I'm going to touch the San Diego St. game. 52% of the pub is on San Diego St.; I just wish the line was closer to -3. This is a must win for San Diego St. if they want to sniff a bowl + Nevada's run defense is atrocious.

And how did you come up with BYU should be favored?

San Diego St. is horrible. I like Nevada.

I've been doing that but just looking for a place to get additional info and a 'edge' when betting. But it sounds like that's not the place to find it. Thanks for the info.

Agreed. Doubt I'll touch the game, but I would lean towards picking state

I try to create my own lines before looking at them and then read write ups from well respected handicappers to see if I'm in the ball park.

Well can you give me some insight as to why you think BYU should be favored?

ETA: This is not a flame, just curious.
